Returns and Exchange Policy
Please choose carefully when purchasing from our product range as the following conditions apply.
Exchanges, Returns or refunds will not be provided after 14 days unless the item is faulty, not doing what they’re supposed to do, significantly different to those shown or described to you.
If you believe an item is faulty, we may need to have the item assessed by the manufacturer to determine whether or not you are entitled to an exchange, refund or repair.
You may also be asked to demonstrate the problem with the goods.
If you are unable to provide satisfactory proof of purchase, DJ City may, at its discretion, provide you with a replacement, repair or exchange to the current value of the goods..
Please choose carefully as you are not entitled to a refund / exchange if you simply change your mind.
Please note that DJ City has the right to assess the condition of the returned goods prior to offering a repair or an exchange and has the right to charge a restocking fee accordingly.
Any goods recieved via freight that are deemed faulty, which are under the value of $100.00, hold a back to base warranty, in which the person returning the product for consideration is responsible for the freight costs to us. We will not accept or sign for any charges incurred in the return process. If the product is deemed a warranty issue we will pay the freight to return the product.
Goods should only be returned freight prepaid to DJ City.

The person returning the product for consideration is responsible for the freight costs to us. We will not accept or sign for any charges incurred in the return process. If the product is deemed a warranty issue we will pay the freight to return the product.
If a purchased product is damaged in transit, then it is necessary that proof of the damage is provided to DJ City within 24 hours of arrival at the customer’s door with adequate photographs. We will then deal with the matter with the transportation company and inform the customer of the next course of action.
To replace a product, the product must be returned with the original receipt and original packaging. Arrangements must be made with DJ City before any items are returned.
Products will only be accepted for replacement if sufficient proof is provided that shows the product is defective due to manufacturing defects.
It should be noted that complex products (such as computer software, midi hardware controllers, DMX lighting and controllers, etc) should be operated by qualified users. DJ City offers no warranty or support for computer software. Problems with computer software supplied with certain products must be first addressed by the provider of the software, usually via their website or help desk. Diagnostics will often be required to solve computer software problems and these must be carried out by the end user in consultation with the software provider. Incorrect operations may damage electronic parts or cause software to malfunction making it appear as if it is faulty when it is not. This does not mean the product did not work when the item was purchased therefore a labour charge may apply.
Please note that Software based products cannot be returned, due to the nature of software serial activation, a software product can only be registered to one user and therefore cannot be re-sold. If there is a problem with a purchased software please contact our team in regards to troubleshooting the issue.
DJ City operates within the laws of the State of Victoria. Please refer to the Consumer Affairs Victoria website for clarification of DJ City’s rights as a business and your rights as a consumer.
